Qt Jambi discontinued

Well, after 4.5 that is. They (Qt Software/Nokia/Trolltech/The Trolls) are going to discontinue Qt Jambi after version 4.5, so they can focus on Qt itself. There will be a community driven version put out, which will be hosted and maintained by Qt Software.

Not that this really affects me, but it's great to see them focus on the core of Qt and hopefully we will see some rockin stuff in the near future. With the release of the LGPL license in 4.5 and this, it sounds like they are positioning themselves for something big.

Another interesting piece to the puzzle is, the new standard for C++ is scheduled for this year. I think C++ will see a large resurgence of developers.
